Clothes, Shoes and Accessories: Making your Fitted Wardrobe Work for You

Posted on 02/11/2016

The best thing about having a bespoke wardrobe designed and built by our expert joiners is that you can have the wardrobe that works for you. Whether you are into clothes, shoes accessories or all three, you can allocate space according to your needs.

Clothes

Clothes hanging in a wardrobe

Some people wear a new dress for every occasion. Looking through the clothes in their wardrobe is like a peek back in time to the fashions of seasons past. If you are one of those people for whom every prom and bridesmaid dress marks a special memory that you can’t bear to part with (even if the zipper hasn’t fully closed for years), then you are going to need a lot of hanger space.

Shoes

Some shoes are functional and some shoes are beautiful. These two features combined is a rare treat. If you love beautiful shoes, don’t hide them away in boxes. Include a shoe rack as a permanent wardrobe feature so that you can admire the pointy-toed perfection of those stilettoes even as you reach for a pair of brogues.

Accessories

For men, it is often ties. For women, it might be handbags, scarves or chunky beaded necklaces. Nearly every person has more than they need of some accessory or other. With the extra storage room provided by a fitted wardrobe, you’ll have plenty of space to expand your collection.
