Our Manufacturing Process: How We Make Your Fitted Furniture

Posted on 25/11/2015

At Mirror Image, we've been blogging about how our business works for the past few weeks. From sales to showrooms, we're happy to explain what we do and how we do it: being open with our customers is part of the reason why 70% of our business comes from returning customers and recommendations. This week, we're looking at our manufacturing process, and how our team of craftsmen create your fitted furniture once you have decided on a design and paid a deposit for us to begin work.

Made in Norwich

When we receive your deposit, we take your bespoke furniture designs to our Norwich factory. Our craftsmen make a cutting list, a detailed list of information about the materials required, and order in any component parts needed. We make all our furniture at our Norwich factory. We use state-of-the-art computer aided cutting equipment to create each individual piece of your fitted furniture.

Our Manufacturing Process

Made For You

At Mirror Image, we specialise in creating bespoke fitted furniture, and we have for over 30 years. There are no standard sizes: everything is made to your specifications, to fit your home.

Our Manufacturing Process

Made in Good Time

We take installing your fitted furniture as seriously as we take making it. Every member of the installation team who arrives at your home will be a Mirror Image employee in a company vehicle and uniform; we never use sub-contractors. All the doors, shelving units, drawers and so on are made in our factory so we can install in your property quickly - most installations only take a day.

Our Manufacturing Process

Made to a High Standard

When we have installed your furniture, we'll ask you to look over the work and make sure it is completed to our exacting standards. Only when you're completely happy will our team guide you through the sign off process, leaving you to enjoy your stunning new furniture with our 10 year guarantee.

If you have any questions about our manufacturing process, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Give us a call or pop into our Norwich and Cambridge showrooms to find out more.
