Designing the Best Fitted Bedroom for Children of All Ages

Posted on 14/03/2017

People of all ages can benefit from having quality fitted furniture in their bedroom. We’ve fitted colourful sliding doors into nurseries and designed bespoke furniture to house the ever-expanding wardrobes of teenage girls. Whatever the age of your child, having furniture built into their room will mean you will always have adequate storage space.

The Nursery

Doting grandparents have a tendency to shower new born babies with romper suits and T-shirts with adorable slogans. It’s a good thing, too, because babies grow so fast. You will need space to store the clothes that your baby will grow into and clean sheets for the Moses basket – lots of clean sheets for the Moses basket.

The Toddler’s Room

Not long after toddlers start to walk, they start to climb – out of the cot, up the stairs, up the furniture. Talk to our designers about making your bespoke wardrobe inaccessible to miniature explorers.

The Child’s Room

A young girl's bedroom

There was a time when, if it was up to her, she would have worn the Frozen Elsa Princess dress every day. Now she’s a bit older, she has a choice of party frocks, a school uniform, clothes for indoor and outdoor play and she’s still growing.

The Teenager’s Room

The room you dare not enter for fear of what you might find growing under the bed. At least with a large fitted wardrobe, they have somewhere to put everything when you tell them they are grounded until they have tidied their room.
